DO taking the USMLE step 2??

I'm a DO interested in FP particularly in California. There are way more allopathic programs in Cali (38 compared to 4 DO residencies) and would like to apply to several. I took the USMLE step 1 and my score wasn't too hot. My comlex score was much better. Is it necessary to take the USMLE step 2???

Absolutely not. AFAIK, most ACGME FP programs here will accept COMLEX scores.
