Do they look at your level 1 board score when applying to IM subspecialty fellowships?

If I decide to pursue IM, im sure I'll have one of the lowest scores of all the applicants when trying for a fellowship, if I even make it into IM.

They look at everything. Depends how you did on your other level scores as well. Focus on getting into the best residency you can and hopefully with a fellowship in house already.

Yes, we'll look at it. The "good" news on your part is that most ACGME fellowship PDs don't have the slightest idea of what to do with COMLEX scores. The score report we get (I'm not a PD but review apps) as part of your ERAS file doesn't even tell us what the scale is, just the minimum passing score.

At this point, you need to make sure that Level II and III have a strong and steady upward trend. That will be very helpful.
