Anyone studied the effect of caffeine on antidepressants such as ssri (celexa)? Do they decrease the effectiveness or increase?
From my experience, as a patient, celexa help me relax and relieves me from depression. I am only on 2nd week of this though. But in the morning, while I feel relaxed, I feel not alert. I drink starbucks (grande americano) and while it might help me get alert, it would also make me feel crazy sometimes, more anxious especially after it wore off. Now today, I took another shot, but it did not help me get more alert. in fact it feels like it made even more stoned.
I may have ADHD but I was not diagnosed with it so far yet, but I have always had many typical symptoms, and had from years that may be time to schedule with a specialist psychiatrist. In this case, I think Wellbutrin might be better for me than celexa.
