I'm in a 8 year BS/MD program that requires a 3.8+ GPA and 26 MCAT (no sub score below 7). Currently, I'm not struggling with the GPA requirement at all, and am coming out of my 2nd year having finished up all my prereqs except OChem (I know, I know, I'm an idiot).

So, Junior year I'm taking OChem along with a year of Biochemistry. I plan on starting to study for the MCAT in January...but I'll only have half a year's worth of OChem.

Do you believe that's enough to reach my goal of 26+?

I don't usually recommend this, but you should take a free diagnostic test much sooner than January. It's possible that you'll be in the 28+ range and be safe, but if you are scoring a 24, I would revise your timetable posthaste!

Take the mcat practice 3....

But it is possible, i took my mcat with only one semester physics, one semester ochem, and one semester of biology that was 8 yrs old. My practice scores in mid/high 20's....day of 31
