Stop working for business people. Instead, hiring and firing them like you (the physician) is the BOSS!

Administrator is never your friend. At most, he is not your foe, for now!

The hospital is not paid or evaluated by patients and is therefore not accountable to them. The hospital is paid by "payors" and evaluated by committees, both of which subscribe to the population-based healthcare model (see "The Founder"). The "providers" serve two purposes in this model: to attract and appease patients, and to serve as scapegoats when flaws in the care model are exposed. </r>
