Hi all, my friend is going to present our paper on his medical school's research day (I am the first author). I was wondering if this counts on the CV and residency application for me? I did nothing for that poster, but I think he just copied and pasted the abstract and the figures. I also don't think anyone can find this information online, unlike other real conference presentations I coauthored before.

It counts! Just say the poster was presented by xxx

Put on your CV (especially since you are first author) and just make sure it's clear that you did not present the poster if asked.
For me I usually put “poster presented by Dr. X” after the citation. Is that ok?
