Yesterday was my 3rd rejection letter receiving weekend? Temple, UVa, and now, UMDNJ.
When will this pain end?

Maybe you'll get some great news from EVMS in 2-3 weeks!

Hopefully you are who I think you are. If not, just ignore me :D .

GO GATORS!!!

yes I feel the pain, your pain , my pain and every body else's pain who is going through this.
But dont give up. Good days are not too far away... Good luck.

Was the UMDNJ reject pre or post interview, and were you on a waitlist? Is this Robert Wood Johnson or New Jersey Medical School? What are your stats?

hey what does bump mean?

Some people type "bump" when they want to revive the thread and bring it up from Hades. :)

any word on UMDNJ & RWJ waitlists?

Hey guys, to fix up any counfusion here--there are two schools state medical schools in NJ, actually three if you count the school of osteopathic medicine--all of them are "UMDNJ"

UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School
UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School
UMDNJ-School of Osteopathic Medicine

I am on a mission to make this known to the world :) heheh....

My pain is a different type of pain...my mailman has been a no show...I'm worried about him. I'm afraid he went to seek protection under the witness protection program.

But, yes I feel pain...lots of pain. No acceptances for me yet. And, strangely enough, I have yet to receive a rejection. I hope they all don't come in the same week...I'll be devastated...I'll never be able to live down the shame if I received all 17 in one week.

I feel your pain y'all.
My sob story is that I've heard through the grape line that almost all of my schools are done.
I guess no more interview invites for me - but the worst is that I have to just sit here and wait for the rejection letters to come wafting through the mail.

i feel your pain. although i got into med school recently, i remember the wait. i was a killer. i wish we didnt have to go through all this, but sometimes there is nothing else you can do. try not to think about it too much. do fun things, go out with friends, watch movies... anything and everything gets your mind away from med school application.

and try to let go of things. check you email once a day. come to sdn once a day. and chekc your mail once a day. i started doing this few weeks before my letter came, it kinda works.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!•••••I visit SDN about 20+ times a day.....I never actually sign off my hotmail account I just return to the browser/screen and "refresh" it to allow me see new messages, I constantly check my cell phone voicemail (med schools don't have access to this number but still I try-maybe they called my house and my sister left a message on my voicemail) and lastly I check my home voicemail about 6x a day from work.

Thanks for the support everybody.
I was rejected pre interview from UMDNJ RWJ. My stats are pretty marginal 27 Q and 3.83.
Swampman: I thought they said 2 months. Anyhow, Terps were victorious again yesterday.
Good Luck to everybody.

TWO MONTHS!!! No way! I thought they said two to three weeks. ssd didn't interview there until the 8th, and he already knows his status.

Good luck! Hopefully they won't keep us waiting too long. Maybe they'll keep me waiting the longest...like they did for the interview. It was quite late when I finally left the library.
