A lot of dental schools require inorganic chemistry but are they talking about general chemistry or the upper division inorganic chemistry?? Please if someone can answer that would be great!

analytical and inorganic chems are completely different subjects.

These are definitely not the same. I am taking both right now and they are completely different subjects.

I believe OP is asking if analytical chemistry will fulfill the 1 year general chemistry requirement for dental school. I believe it depends on your school, I remember my school stated that analytical chemistry can count towards your 1 year general chemistry requirement.
