When you click on a school off of MSAR, they show a break down of what classes are required/recommended/etc...some have orange check boxes, others have green check boxes, and some are blank...Obviously the red X's mean no, but why are there two different colored check boxes??? Please Help.

Here's an example with Georgetown, you will need MSAR though.... https://services.aamc.org/30/msar/schoolDetails/438/summary

There's a question mark that explains it.

But to answer your question: it means they accept it on a case-by-case basis.

yup check scanned the page and saw teh question mark, never dawned on me to click it... D'OH

But case by case, so basically it just means what kind of mood they are feeling in that day?

I wouldn't know for sure. I'd imagine the best thing to do in this situation is to call the admissions office and see what their criteria is. It may even be listed on their website.
