So...for the past 2 years I've been working as a pharmacy technician and I'm applying to schools this year, upon completion of the MCAT. Now the job entails me to fill and process prescriptions, as well as speak with doctors and the patients that come in. As a result, I know what a bunch of drugs do/when to take the drug regarding the symptom, as well as how to read/write the prescription. My question was whether this counts as extracurriculars, specifically, as a form of clinical (in addition to the volunteering/shadowing aspect) considering I've been working with the drugs for the past two years.

i would consider it clinical, but i am by no means an expert in these regards...

if you're interacting with patients, i'd say it counts as clinical.
