So I might have made a big mistake here...I've been lucky enough to get into several schools with those acceptances begining to come in the middle of january. Well I haven't bothered to submit my FAFSA and all that jazz because I wanted to make a decision. I've finally got it down to two schools and I've submitted. However, I was wondering does it hurt you if you don't submit relatively soon after getting in, especially when it comes to merit aid???? Any insight would be great.

It probably depends a lot on your individual school and how they distribute aid. I have heard of some programs with limited aid giving it out on a first come first served basis (especially scholarships and merit aid). Federal aid isnt so much a first come first served situation but it can be at larger schools so get that application in soon.
