Does Maryland take AP scores?

Does anyone know if UMD takes AP scores to fulfill their course requirements? They require 8 sem units of inorganic chem. I took Chem 1A (first part) and got 4 on the AP Chem test in high school. I also took 3 sem units of biochem. Is this enough?

I never took Chem 1B because my undergrad school doesn't require it for my bio major. Its unfortunate that I found out about a bunch of dental schools requiring Chem 1B just a few weeks ago. Anyone in the same situation?

If you are saying you are completely missing the second semester of gen chem, i dont think they will accept that but in my case I took AP Bio and it fulfilled both semesters of gen bio for my major and they interviewed me...lets see if they "accept" it on December 1st
