Does med school count a research grade as a science grade?

Hi everyone, is a grade in research (MCB4932) included into your science GPA?

It can be included if you list it as biology, chemistry, physics or math. For example, if you were doing research in a bio lab, then you could list the course designation as a biology course even though the course number isn't BIOXXX or whatever.

what if the course is titled UCXXX? (University Course)...this is how my research credit is labeled but I work in a Translational Pathology lab doing PCRs and Western blots etc.
