Hi, does the amount of credits someone takes in a semester play a large role in the admission process? Would only taking 12-14 credits in a semester drastically hurt my chances even if i do really well in them and really well on the DAT?

It has been suggested to me and has seemed to work 😉, take three science classes a year and add some BS classes to get a total of 15-18 credits. I'm sure you can get by on just 14 though. Make sure it is 14 credits of hard classes. The better the grades in a more challenging schedule is just that...better.

Im sure it matters to a certain extent. 15-18 would be a good load for a normal student. But if you end up taking 12-14 hours, I am sure admissions would look to see what you did with your extra time. I.e. extracurriculars, full-time job and what not. My semesters have been 16 17 18 15 18 16 14 so far. and I have had a full time job.

oh lol...wow, im gonna have 14/15/ [ 16- 8/8 (summer)] /14/14/apply/12/12

guess i should plug in another class to get those 14s and 12s up to 18s and 16s huh

Wow, I have taken so far 12, 15, 3(summer), 10 (had a home problems) and then 19, but Im going to keep a trend of 17 next semesters

With my 10 credits my GPA was sub 3.0

Then I took 19 and got a 4.0
