Does anyone know if volunteering/interning at Alzheimer's Association count as clinical experience?

Well, what will you do there? If you hand out magazines to patients, no. If you help patients and their families fill out intake questionnaires, it could be consider clinical interactions prior to more formal clinical training (because you will be privy to private health information and may need to help explain the pertinent clinical inquires in depth to some patients). But the real answer is it depends on what exactly will you be doing?

Volunteering is great - I'm a huge advocate! :)

What is your role there? What kind of duties and responsibilities does the position involve?

The term clinical is pretty broad. Nevertheless, I would be cautious against using it without having an official clinical capacity with appropriate supervision. If you are talking about putting it into applications for grad school, then list it as volunteer work and describe what you did while you were there. It will mainly just show how you function in a clinical environment with other providers, no one expects you to be a clinician until you actually start training to be one and sometimes getting ahead of yourself in that would be a negative.
