Does this count as clinical volunteering?

I have been volunteering at a HIV housing project for the past year or so. I truly enjoy working with this population (AIDs/HIV+ patients) and spend my time with them by being a good friend, penpal, or just talking to them. I was wondering if this counts as clinical volunteering?

Im inclined to say no because you arent really interacting with patients in a clinical setting and they also aren't really patients at the housing project. You are also not doing clinical things with them. I would categorize this as nonclinical volunteering.
