Hello! I'm looking into a new position for the COVID pandemic in my community--calling patients and their contacts, asking about their symptoms, ensuring they're informed about quarantine procedures, etc. I'll do it regardless (if I get the job haha), but was wondering if this would count as "clinical." It obviously doesn't abide by the "close enough to smell patients" rule, but I'm thinking that with the rise of telemedicine during this outbreak things might be more flexible. Thanks!
I think in this case, it's pretty lose to clinical.

It should NOT be your sole clinical experience though.

Who is offering this position? How long would each appointment take? What happens if you find that a patient or caregiver isn't really adhering to stay-at-home recommendations? What are the HIPAA safeguards? You answers will inform me if it's "something" given the circumstances.
