Hi, I would like to submit my primaries soon and I was hoping to get feedback on my list

Major: Biology
GPA: 3.72
science GPA: 3.64
MCAT: 37 (11PS, 11VR, 15BS)

My overall application I feel is very kinda below average
I have:
120 hours as an EMT
120 volunteering through a service fraternity
60 hours volunteering at a nursing home
2+ years in an evolution lab, one summer as an REU
80 hours in a parisitology lab
one summer working as a waiter
a year working at a library

My Preliminary list of 25:
Albert Einstein
Baylor
Boston University
Columbia
Duke
Mt.Sinai
NYU
SUNY Downstate
Stony Brook
SUNY Buffalo
University of Rochester
Cornell
Albany
Rosalind Franklin
Drexel
George Washington
Hofstra
Loyola
Thomas Jefferson
SUNY Upstate
Temple
Tufts
Quinnipiac
NY Medical College
Tulane

I think its a good list, nice range of high-low-mid tier schools.
But you can add more high tier! with that MCAT and research experience why not give it a shot!

Thanks for the feedback! I didn't want to be too top heavy and looking at median scores I don't feel I'll be that competitive. What reach schools would you recommend?

UCLA, michigan, pittsburgh, mayo, UNC, case western, emory all come to mind.

If I wanted to keep my list at 25 schools, which schools from my list would be better to drop?!

Swap out U Miami for Rosy F, perhaps U VM for Tufts, and consider adding Pitt and/or Northwestern.

Thanks Goro! I think I will take your advice.

I would give some consideration to Emory USC and Rochester as well.

Pretty good list, but can be improved.

Remove GWU (too many apps), Drexel (too many apps and Temple/Jeff are better), Baylor (relatively low OOS).

Replace with Case Western, Pitt, Emory, Northwestern, Ohio State. You can afford to reach a bit higher.
