Hello SDNers,

My medical school's Ultrasound Interest Group is attempting to compile a list of medical schools that currently have an interest group dedicated to advancing Ultrasound in medical education...We are trying web searches for USIG websites, and I also came up with idea of posting on here to identify any other ones. I figured Emergency Medicine would be the forum to try. Thank you much for your input~ :)

No U/S interest group per say, but one can take "EM bedside U/S" during MS4 which I hear is awesome.

We have ultrasound training for a few hours every month M1-M3 years. Additionally we carry vscans during certain rotation in M3 year.

M4 year you can do an elective in EM ultrasound where you do a bunch of scans and work with the fellows.

But I guess we don't have a specific ultrasound group....it's just another aspect of our curriculum.

We had EMIG but not specific for u/s. Radiology and IR also had their own interest groups.
