what do you mean exactly? examples?
I was counseling someone about genital warts. I have a set way I usually go through it. I first ask "Do you know what genital warts are?" Many don't know it's viral.

So I am counseling this one guy and start by asking him that. Response: "Oh, yeah, that's that thing that women give to men".

While not technically incorrect, I knew I would have more explaining to do on that one.


Anal warts are a problem for both sexes. We routinely do anal paps and refer for scoping. I think it was fine that I learned this in residency, not med school, though.
