I just submitted my application and I did check to box saying 'yes' allow my dean's office to see my application. I understand that this is important if for any reasons you don't match and need to scramble then then need to be able to see you application. Don't know all the details, but I did agree. You just never know. I assumed it also meant they could see your program list.
