I know in previous threads people were asking about which undergrad they should attend. I stopped by my pre-med office yesterday to chat with old friends (haven't been there in two years) and I saw this quote posted on a board from the University of Miami medical school:
"I went to an Ivy League School. Does that increase my chances of being accepted? It is far more important how you did in your studies than where you went to school. Attending a well-known, big-name school does not confer any significant advantage."
