For those of you who are noobs, every year, SDN holds a Test Prep Week (TPW). This year's TPW runs through Friday, March 11. The way it works is that various companies with products of interest to medical trainees (and other allied health trainees) such as books, question banks, and PDA apps set up threads in their own forums that offer information about their products. The forums are organized by topics (ex. USMLE, Pharmacy, etc.) Within each forum, company representatives will answer user questions about their products. In addition, most companies offer discounts on their products to SDN users. Many companies also hold raffles of items that our users can sign up for by posting in the appropriate threads.

We hope that all of you will take advantage of this great resource. However, please observe the following rules:

1) You may *not* spam the TPW forums. In other words, please do not post random one-word posts in every thread. Posts that do not contribute to the discussion of the product being featured in that thread will not qualify to enter you in the raffle.

2) Please be considerate to current students and residents by limiting your raffle entries to products that are appropriate for your training level. Students who do not fit the appropriate training level will be disqualified from the raffle.

3) For those of you who are current students and residents, if you are already past a certain point in your training, you can still go into that forum to offer advice. However, you will not be entered in those raffles since those products are geared toward current students who need to prepare for those tests.

Please be aware that failure to follow these rules can result in you being disqualified from participating in a specific raffle, or even from participating in any raffles whatsoever. The mods will be monitoring every forum, and unfortunately, we do have to ban a few members from TPW every year. I would hate to see that happen to any of you.

I hope you all enjoy TPW, and if you have any suggestions, questions or concerns, feel free to post them here.
