Let's face it. Most people assume that if you're willing to spend $250,000 and 8 years of your life in post-graduate training, you probably have some idea of what you want to do with it. Some of you who say "getting into med school is enough to think about, I have no idea what kind of doctor I want to be"... WTF? How do you even know you want to be a doctor at all if you have no preference between the wildly different careers available to a doctor? These are probably people who just want to do something respected and important, but won't actually enjoy their day-to-day life for the next 40 years.
