I just had a girl knock on my door saying she was from Washington State University (I'm from central Texas) looking for the parents of kids who haven't yet graduated high school.

It made me wonder how people get involved in doing these door to door things so far from home? Are these available at your school? Has anyone here ever been involved in this craziness?

Never heard of this....what the hell is it? Some sort of new recruiting tactic? In my days, college reps would just come to the high schools.

I don't know. I've seen other people saying they're selling magazines for whatever (usually to fund some trip), but I have no idea why a university student would be going door to door so far from their university
