Here is a portion of the Northwestern Anesthesia Webpage:

Anesthesiology at Northwestern University

2003-2004 Chief Residents

Alexander M. DeLeon, MD
Medical School: Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine
Letter from Chief Resident

Michael G. Dulitz, MD
Medical School: Medical College of Wisconsin
Letter from Chief Resident

2002-2003 Chief Residents

Daniel R. Kendall, DO
Letter from Chief Resident
Post-Residency Career: Pain Medicine Fellowships, Johns Hopkins?Baltimore, Maryland

Paul C. Tamul, DO
2003 Dr. H. Steele & Judith Holley Award in Academic Anesthesiology
Post-Residency Career: Critical Care Medicine Fellowship, McGaw Medical Center at Northwestern University? Chicago, Illinois

As you can see, the chief residents for 2002-2003 were both DO's, and one went onto due a pain management (considered one of the most difficult fellowships to get in anesthesia) at Hopkins.

I decided to post this as a new thread in response to the DO's in anesthesia (or any other specialty) thread. Also, the Residency Director for PM&R at Northwestern is a DO.

Cheers
