Does anyone know the statistics of D.O's in Neuro residency programs? I am a D.O who wants to stay in California and I was wondering how difficult it will be for me. Any advice will be appreciated!

In a recent issue of the DO magazine, it estimated that allopathic Neurology Residencies are filled with 10% of DO's. :D Most allopathic neurology residencies are very DO friendly. This field is the 2nd specialty mostly filled by DO's, Rheumatology being the 1st (this is without counting Fam Med, Peds, IM).

There is no reason why you shouldn't applied to allopathic residencies.;)
