....

My mother, whom i have lived with since 1rst grade lives in Fl,
my father, whom I still see, but who hasn't really been my gaurdian (no money) lives in Alabama. It would really help my chances of getting into UAB if i could claim that i am an AL resident. But not at the expense of aliwnating myself from the FL schools. Can i claim both? Just list my dad on the UAB form and my mom of the UF, USF ect forms..

thoughts? Oh does UAB screen? I called them and the secretary said "if you got one we want to hear more from you" Implying that there are some they dont want to hear from. But she was just the secratary.

Nice try, but no cigar! You can only be a resident of one state, and it's chrystal clear you're not an Alabama resident. Don't even think of trying to claim it on the AL app. It would be quite unethical, and if you were to be caught, you might be looking for another career path altogether, as schools do talk to each other.
