can any please answer this
stability of TMJ is maintained by constant activity of muscles that pull the joint
these muscles are primarily
post neck muscle
suprahyoids
infrahyoids
depressors
elevators

i think answer shd be depressors
coz tmj is mainly held taught in place through superior laterla pterygoid and which is a depressor muscle..
please correct if im wrong

also which type of mandibular 2nd premolar has pentagonal shape
is is u shaped or y shaped one;
i think its y shaped one...
let me know if its wrong

which primary molar is most likely to be retained in mouth of an adult patient dut to congenitally absence of a premolar
i think it shd be lower 2nd decidous molar coz most likely missing permolar is mandibular 2nd premolar?am i right?

maxillary premolars penetrate
fronal sinus or antrum?

on the crowns of h type mandibular second premolar which of the following represent functional inclined planes of lingual cusp?
is it
MB & ML
ML& DL:thumbup: ???
DB& DL
DB &MB
MB &DL

MORE MICRO Q'S
most dramatic change introduced in oral cavity by which event?
introduction of permanent teeth

Please correct me... These Q's is realy confusing.

stability of TMJ is maintained by constant activity of muscles that pull the joint
these muscles are primarily
post neck muscle
suprahyoids
infrahyoids
depressors
elevators I guess

TMJ to be stablize you need to work against the # 1 force (gravity) which depress, imagin if there is no elevators.

also which type of mandibular 2nd premolar has pentagonal shape
is is u shaped or y shaped one;

I would go for U-shape since based on Old ADA test the Y-form is square, but the H and U are similar to first PM. And pentagonal is for the Buccal shape of both PM mandi.

which primary molar is most likely to be retained in mouth of an adult patient dut to congenitally absence of a premolar
i think it shd be lower 2nd decidous molar coz most likely missing permolar is mandibular 2nd premolar?am i right?

I am with you

maxillary premolars penetrate
fronal sinus or antrum?

From Decks: Antrum

on the crowns of h type mandibular second premolar which of the following represent functional inclined planes of lingual cusp?
is it
MB & ML
ML& DL:thumbup: ???...XX
DB& DL
DB &MB
MB &DL

Remembere this is a lingual cusp inlcine which goes buccally, the one you choosed will be on buccal cusp

Q risk factor for development of endometrial cancer
HPV infection
endometrosis:thumbup:

multiple pregnancy
hyperestrogenism

Q which tooth has greater F-L dimension than M-D
Mx2nd premolar:thumbup:
Md 1st PM
Md 2nd PM

Q moving Md from maximum ICP to retruded contact position following will result
INC VDO:thumbup:
DEC VDO
DEC horizontal overlap
INC veritcal overlap

let me know if im wrong

check it please..

Q what causes decrease in size of buccal vestibule when jaw is open wide
condyle  XXX
hamular
coronoid
styloid process???

Coronoid Process, I am sure of it.

Q risk factor for development of endometrial cancer
HPV infection
endometrosis:thumbup: XXX
multiple leomyoma
multiple pregnancy
hyperestrogenism

It is also caused by Un-opposed action of high estrogen(birth control without porgesteron), Tamoxifen w/c used for breast cancer tx.

Q which tooth has greater F-L dimension than M-D
Mx2nd premolar:thumbup:
Md 1st PM
Md 2nd PM

I am with you.

Q moving Md from maximum ICP to retruded contact position following will result
INC VDO:thumbup:
DEC VDO
DEC horizontal overlap
INC veritcal overlap

Iam with you.. From Old released Q's: Retruded MD will Increase VDO and Horizental ovelap while decreasing vertical Overlap
