You know what really makes me mad? After the first round, 29 of my 32 teams were still in, but I had Iowa St. as one of my final four. Still, if Ole Miss, N.C. and Michigan State win, I am still 13 for 16.
I do have to agree, though, it has been an excellent tournament, both men and women.

I was bummed about the loss to Duke as well, but not as much as the 1 pt coast-to-coast-what-the-heck-he's-gonna-make-a-layup-this-can't-be-happening loss to UCLA. Next year the Tigers will be back with a vengeance

Why did you pick Iowa State in the final four? Those Big 12 teams always choke. My final four consist of Maryland, Kentucky, Arizona, and Florida. I should have never picked those darn gators. Hopefully Gonzaga will come out of the South bracket so I won't lose to many points on the NCAA pool!! Go Dickau!!

Anyone follow the NAIA? Pikeville College is in the final four. GO BEARS!!!

Great-North Carolina lost as well. I had them to the elite eight. I am just over .500.
As to why I picked Iowa State, I have to remain loyal to my Big XII teams. I figured Iowa State had a better chance than any others (with the possible exception of Kansas, and that remains to be seen; Arizona still scares me) because I thought they were in the weakest bracket. Stanford still has to prove itself to me.

Beware of my Fighting Illini. They are big, athletic, and play suffocating defense. Just ask UNC-Charlotte which isn't a bad team at all. They looked like a deer in headlights. I think Duke has the best team but the Illini are the only team that can knock them off because of their size. The Illini nearly beat Duke earlier this year in Greensboro, NC. I wonder what would have happened if they played at a more neutral arena.
