Downstate's secondary does not give any clear instructions in the essay questions (if you can call them essays) They simply ask if you have any reason for applying to school in New York or to Downstate please tell us. Now does that mean that if i don't have a reason I can leave it blank(and forget about being accepted there) and if i do have a reason how long does it have to be a few sentences or paragraphs or a few pages. If anyone has any idea please reply.

I definately would not leave anything blank, but a few short sentences will suffice. My 3 essay questions were all one paragraph and I got accepted! So don't make it more than it is.
