What does it mean if I sent an email to Dr. Bradshaw at Baylor last week and haven't heard anything back from him at all...not even an acknowledgment that he received the message. I sent it from my gmail account...could that get filtered into junk mail?? Also, should I resend it if this is what perhaps happened?

Thoughts??? Help!

Dude. you. need. to. chill.
His secretary probably printed out the e-mail and stuck it your file. Baylor has over 4000 applicants a year and he probably can't respond personally to every e-mail sent to him with in a week.
Smile and relax..you will get in somewhere...

Hey Chris,

Judging from previous years threads and after talking to Baylor students, I find that Baylor is notorious for not getting back to many people for weeks (and months) and then these same people later get pleasantly surprised when they least expected it. I think until a candidate gets formally waitlisted in April, he has every bit of chance to be accepted after he has interviewed. People DO seem to get accepted off the waitlist as well, judging from last year's thread (try to visit last year's thread at http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=146712 ).

I sent him an email to Dr. Bradshaw in late October and he responded with,

"Please know that Baylor's "rolling
admissions" process will begin this week and continue through the end of March 2006. Good luck
with your endeavor. I hope that you will receive good news in the future. "

So emailing Dr. Bradshaw probably isn't going to do much. Based off experiences told by LadyJubilee8_18 and ms.a, perhaps formally meeting with Dr. Michael to express your continued interest may help.
