Hi,
I recently finished my MPH and am currently living in Chicago. I am taking couple years off to work in the field of public health and start applying next year for entering in the year 2008.
I was looking at UIC's website--which states that one of the requirements for an applicant is to have 3-4years of work experience in the field of public health.
Do all schools require this? I would rather live in Chicago and study here as well (although my 2nd choice is University of Pittsburgh for DrPH).
Has anyone here done their DrPH programs in any chicago schools including UIC? I would love to know how the DrPH programs are. Is it necessary to have more than 3 years of work experience in order to gain acceptance in DrPH programs? Is it difficult to gain admission into DrPH programs? I would love to hear from anyone.
Thanks! 🙂
