Drug dosage

As future doctors, regardless whether u are in step 2 or step 3, should we memorise the drug dosage? I mean there are tons of drugs there i just couldn't remember all the numbers!!! Or should we just read through them without remembering instead focusing on which disease which drugs are first line, route of admin etc ?

Do not memorize dosages. You will learn them as you need them. The ones that you will need constantly, you will commit to memory very quickly. The ones that you don't need all the time can always be quickly looked up on epocrates or pharmacopedia.

just pick random numbers, nurses and pharmacists will fix it for you.

Okay!! Thanks for the replies.. I have difficulties in remembering the drugs' names never mind their dosages!!
