Can anyone explain to me ( regarding drug-drug interaction in cimetidine )
Why Diazepam is not affected by cimetidine to the same extent as phenytoin and warfarin ?

Cytochrome p450, cimetidine is a potente inhibitor. Diazepam doesnt rely as much on that cytocrhome to be metabolized while phenytoin and warfarin do. Diazepam has alternate methabolic pathways.
