I'm having a hard time finding a good resource for this topic. I've tried pharm recall, it has a decent appendix with a list in alphabetic order --but i'm worried because it doesnt always correlate with microcards and/or first aid. I understand there isnt always 1 good Abx per bug but I feel like I should at least be able to rattle off a couple good options for each bug. I'm trying to put together a list (or find one already made that is current)...any ideas? Am I going about the Abx portion of pharm the wrong way? I'm very open to suggestions. Thanks!

Memorize spectra for antibiotics, not treatments for bugs

agreed, knowing conditions, like for neonatal meningitis you are going to want to cover for Listeria, and what drug does that is what to know...Atypical pneumonia's what is usually always used. MRSA, Lyme dz, chlamydia and gonorrhea, etc. You get the picture
