"
Scientists find a way to prevent, reverse chronic pain"

Hi

Sorry I'm not very medical. I was reading the article and thought this was the miracle drug to turn off pain, but

It says "...activating the A3 receptor with a small adenosine molecule did not alter the normal pain threshold in rodents..."

Does that mean this is only for chronic pain at best and would not work for acute pains??

Is there drug to prevent acute pains so if you get hit by a bus you would not feel pain???

Just another trail to follow and maybe a new drug to launch. Dopamine has also worked in refractory chronic pain. AAPM abstracts at back of journal this month.
