definitely not b/c i know a couple kids that applied and didn't. however, i would guess they interview most that they feel are somewhat competitive

They definitely get in in higher numbers - we have ~15 Duke undergrads in our class (of 100). The next highest represented schools are Harvard and Princeton, with ~5-6 each.
