Duke Wait-List

Last night I had a very vivid dream in which I got accepted to Duke off the Wait-List. I am currently on the alternate list at Duke... I was wondering if anyone out there knows ANYTHING they can tell me about the wait-list: strategies about what to do now, statistics, etc.

my roommate and i are both on the duke waitlist...and we have both pretty much written it off. of the six waitlists that i'm on, duke is the one i really have the least hope for. this is because duke traditionally does not take many people off their waitlist. plus i'm fairly confident that i'm not anywhere near the top! oh well.
