dumb questions about matching

    1) Which specialties have early match?

    2) Which specialties run only normal match?

    3) Do any specialties run both?

    1) Ophthalmology (SF Match), Urology (Urology Match), Military Match

    2) Everything else

    3) Maybe plastic surgery, but I think all the integrated spots are through NRMP now.

    Edit: This is only residency match. Fellowships are a whole different ballgame, their deadlines are all over the place if they even use match, many don't.

    If you do ophthalmology, which includes a transitional year, do you have to register for both the early and regular matches?
