How long is PA training? I've read that most programs are between 24 to 27 months long. Do PAs do internships/residencies following graduation from PA school? If so, how long are these programs? If not, do PA grads apply for jobs straight out of school?

    Thank you!

MOST PROGRAMS ARE 2 YEARS INCLUDING SUMMERS. FOR GENERAL INFO ABOUT PA'S CHECK OUT WWW.AAPA.ORG
RESIDENCIES ARE AVAILABLE IN MOST FIELDS AND ARE OPTIONAL. MOST FOLKS GO TO WORK RIGHT OUT OF SCHOOL. FOR A LIST OF RESIDENCIES CHECK OUT WWW.APPAP.ORG
