ear plugs?

hey just wondering if ear plugs are allowed on test day?.. some people advised me not to bc i wont hear the proctor say times up.. but they arnt completely sound proof so im pretty sure that wouldnt be a problem

On p. 13 of the MCAT Essentials it says
"You may not wear earplugs or baseball-type caps during the test."

So it's not an option, unfortunately.
