This has probably been posted before, but maybe it will have some use for us newer students:

It's neat to see how well conserved many of the procedures are (see the textbook at the top and check out the muscle-energyish procedures) and how much the explanations for how they work have changed.

Yeah, I posted that a while ago. I wonder if it can be added to the pre-DO Sticky link page. It's a useful resource for those interested.
