So from reading all the forum pages, applying early seems to be the key. I'm a reapplicant from last year, and am going to go ahead and submit my AMCAS early. I will be retaking the MCAT in July.

Does anyone know if any schools will look at my application BEFORE receiving my new MCAT scores? Will I receive secondaries before my MCAT scores are received?

Thanks for your help!

You will receive secondaries from the schools that do not screen. However, your application will not be considered complete until your MCAT score has been received, and therefore will not be up for review.

It's a retake on the MCAT. So, yes, your application will be looked at before the scores from the retake are received.

What you can do is submit your application to AMCAS with only one school designated. Then, when your new scores come in, add the others. The apps will go out right away with no delay, and the cost will be the same.
