Early Decision/AMCAS

Like everyone else, it has taken AMCAS a very long time to show that they have received all of my transcripts. I submitted my application and received their standard email that it could take up to 6 weeks for processing. I am now concerned about getting my stuff in on time since I am applying early decision and everything has to be in by 8/1. Does anyone have any experience with the lenght of time the medical school should receive my application once my application shows the words "ready for review"?

As far as I know, AMCAS verification is not taking more than a week around this time. You'll be fine.

Yes, it seems to be running about a week and then your app is instantly available to the school for ED. Good Luck!!!!

Also, I've heard that EDP students get moved to the front of the line. So it shouldn't be long.
