I was told that other schools know where you applied early decision and are less likely to accept you. Can anyone confirm this?

From what I understand, schools don't know where else you applied regardless of regular or early admission. However, when you apply early your AMCAS is not transmitted to the non-early schools you've indicated until a decision is reached on your early admission. So schools will see when you completed the AMCAS and when it was transmitted to them. The delay between the two will probably indicate that you applied early elsewhere and did not get admitted.
