Early decision timeline question

What is the timeline for ED applicants? I know the deadline for submitted materials is August 1st. Does that include secondaries as well? If it does, when is the latest you can submit a primary, get it processed in time, and get a secondary returned?

Each school sets its own deadlines but in general the primary application has to be in by Aug. 1 and your file has to be complete (secondary essays, LORs, fee, photo, etc.) by Sept. 1. Decisions, of course, come by Oct. 1.

When I did EDP I submitted AMCAS on 6/25, was verified on 7/3, got my secondary invite on 8/1, turned it in on 8/14, interviewed on 9/24, and had my acceptance in hand 9/28.
