Early Decision

I just wanted to know if anyone applied Early Decision and how things turned out. I know of two people in the past that did this and were successful. If you could please indicate the school you applied to and the result of the application.

The Question: Does one need to be an exceptional student to apply Early Decision?

If you'd do a search on this topic you should find plenty of discussion, along with the stats and such you have requested. Several SDNers were successful ED applicants this year, and posted about it when it was big news (around October).

I'd say you need to be a strong applicant. Which school you apply to ED determines if you need to be exceptional or not. 🙂
