Early decision

My stats are borderline. Do I have a better chance of getting accepted if I apply early decision? Also, would a state school or private school be easier to get into?

Do not apply ED unless you have superior stats and scores!!!!!!!! My friend was rejected at Michigan State and that set him way behind in the app process. The admissions rep told him barely anyone is accepted ED. So, I think that would be a bad idea, especially since you stats are borderline
