Early Decison

Hey guys,
Is it a good idea to apply early decison if I am a borderline applicant? I hear from some that you have to have stellar numbers to apply ED and others say the opposite. Im confused!

i think most want at least above avg stats.

yep...i dont think u can even apply ED to most schools unless you are above average...

plus, the downside of applying ED is that you are committed to that school and can't hvae your application sent out until that school rejects you (possibly as late as october, i believe)...

if youre borderline, the late application to other schools will hurt a great deal...
